My friends and I love cupcakes! What is it about cupcakes anyway? Perhaps it reminds us of our childhood or warm spring days. A perfect baked package that is almost too pretty to eat. When my friends and I eat cupcakes, it sends feelings of euphoria and delight. Well, whatever it is, it brings a smile on our faces.

I'm finally finding the time to get online. lol With 7 wonderful grandchildren I find very little time for the enternet because they are worth every moment. I still have a little time for a social life with my boytoy but even with him I cut time short because my grandkids take center stage because I know once they get in their teens they won't have to much time for grandma anymore but with their own friends and then I'll have all the time in the world for everything else and thats good for me. I cherrish this time while their young because it's the most important time of their lives to instill all the good stuff they need to help them become great adults we hope. It's great to be alive and have kids and grandkids. Remember Ladies what we teach our own will reflect the future of tommarrow and everyday of the future. Some of us ladies that are older know that we are partly responsible for the mess our enviorment is in and we have the opportunity to help turn it around through our kids long after we're gone. I so want to be apart of that greatness even though the results will show dramatically after I'm gone but my grand kids will be teaching their kids some of the same things but improved versions and telling their kids about their great great grandma and how she taught me this and to think about this. Always with love and respect for caring so much and they will instill the same . Now thats a great way to go knowing that when it's my time to go home to the heavens above. Thanks for letting me ramble and listening to my life inspirations. Have a wonderful day and a long wonderful life. Remember we women are teachers everyday and instill the roots for the future. Make it count. The love you receive in the process is worth more than words and makes you the luckiest and richest woman in the world.

Hi Jennifer, I'm only 10% closer to my goal, but I"m getting there. I've lost 7 lbs since I started. My endurance and strength are definitely better. This is how I figured out I was in better shape. We moved my 19 yr old daughter from a 2nd floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment (about a block away). I had no problems getting up and down the stairs, but my husband could barely walk at the end of the day. I was quite surprised with myself. Of course, the heat about killed me. I don't why she couldn't move in a cooler month, but I'm glad she's in her own apartment.

As far as reuslts go...I'm not allowed to weigh in until my trainer tells me to. It's killing me not knowing. However, before he banned me from weighing in I had lost 3 lbs about 2 weeks into it. I still have to cut out a few items from my "diet". I'm on a 1500 cal day diet. I can pretty much eat whatever I want, I just have to watch my portions. Sometimes I go 1700, but it's rare I go beyond that. I really want to lose the weight, I really let myself go, a lot!
When I met my hubby I was 135, which was perfect, not too fat, not too skinny. Now, you don't even wanna know! Way beyond that! Thank you for the comments and for the support. |

Does the site have a "Help" section? Seems a lot of people don't really know how to use the site or get around... perhaps a group should be created for that!
Also I wanted to point out that the "Enlarge" feature on the profile pics does not work. It takes you to a 404 error page. Not sure if you are the right person to notify about that... Thanks! |

The Duke's Handmaid is a fantasy about a young peasant maiden who loses her family and her home when marauders raid her farm. She reports the tragedy to the duke, who champions her cause, hunting down the outlaws and meting out justice. But even though her family is avenged, she has to carry on and now she has nothing but some chickens. When the duke offers her a position as an indentured servant, she accepts. Can the simple farmgirl find a home among the cultured and refined servants in the duke's house? Not if the prejudiced and conniving duchess has her way!

Book two of the trilogy is in the works and hopefully will be released later this year.

I havent figured out how to use this site either. Anyway, Seadooing would be Seadoos, Jetskis, Waverunners, water sports. As for design, I was around. I just dont log on her much. You can always catch me on myspace wit hthe rest of the nerd , dork, & geek bunch at www.myspace.com/Seadoome or type in Seadoome at the google window. Click on your first set of search results. Also, let me know if you need help with something. i can give you some advice on how to choose a designer if you still need it.
