How do I view my messages?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, click on the MAIL TAB. Here you can check your INBOX for messages, write a message to your HerOrbit friends by clicking on CREATE, or view your sent messages in SENT and see the status of your messages.

What if I forgot my username?
Your username for HerOrbit is the email address you used to create your account.

How do I retrieve a forgotten password?
Go to HerOrbit HOME PAGE. Click on the FORGET YOUR PASSWORD? CLICK HERE at the bottom of the MEMBER LOGIN box. At the prompt, enter the EMAIL ADDRESS you registered with, then click on GET PASSWORD. We will then email your password to that address.

What if I have trouble logging into my account?
Please verify that you are using the correct username and password as you log in. We recommend that you clear your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again. Check that your profile still exists by locating your profile on the site. If you are still unable to locate your profile, it may have been deleted.

How do I change my email address?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse above EDIT PROFILE TAB, click on PROFILE QUESTIONS, change your EMAIL ADDRESS, and click UPDATE.

How do I set my profile to private?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over EDIT PROFILE TAB, click on PRIVACY SETTINGS. To make portions of your profile visible only to yourself, select PRIVATE. To make portions of your profile visible only to you and your friends, select FRIENDS. To make portions of your profile visible to everyone, select PUBLIC.

How do I change the information listed in my profile?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, you can change your answers to your profile on the left hand side, then click SAVE PROFILE SETTINGS to save your changes. You can also make changes under the EDIT PROFILE TAB.

How do I change my privacy setting for my age?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over EDIT PROFILE TAB. Click on PROFILE QUESTIONS. Uncheck SHOW AGE BOX, and then click on UPDATE to save new information.

How do I change my privacy settings for my pictures, videos, friends, discussion, journal, groups, or calendar?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over EDIT PROFILE TAB. Click on PRIVACY SETTINGS. Check desired privacy settings, then click on SAVE SETTINGS to save new information.

How do I change my URL address?
Once your personal URL address has been saved, you cannot change it.

How do I block a user?
Visit that USER'S PROFILE PAGE. Click on BLOCK MEMBER. Note: Blocked users can still view your profile, but they cannot send you a message or communicate with you.

How do I unblock a member?
Log in to your PROFILE, position mouse over FRIENDS TAB, click on VIEW BLOCKED USERS. Click on UNBLOCK next to the user you want to unblock.

How do I upload profile pictures to HerOrbit?
Images must be JPEGs or GIF no larger than 2MB. Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, go to the EDIT PROFILE TAB. Click on CHANGE PROFILE PICTURE. Click on BROWSE, navigate your files to find your picture. Click OPEN, then click UPLOAD.

How do I upload pictures to the picture gallery?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over PICTURE TAB, click on ADD PICTURES. Complete fields PICTURE TITLE, CATEGORY, and DESCRIPTION. Click on BROWSE, navigate your files to find your picture, click OPEN, then click UPLOAD.

How do I add/change my profile picture?
Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over EDIT PROFILE TAB. Click on CHANGE PROFILE PICTURE. You can add or change your profile picture as often as you like.

What if I'm having trouble with images?
First, make sure the image you are trying to upload is in one of the accepted formats JPEG or GIF. Images must be no larger than 2MB.

How do I add a video player to my site?
Every member automatically receives a video player in a HerOrbit account. Log in. On your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over VIDEO TAB. Click on ADD VIDEOS and follow instructions to upload VideoEgg to your computer. Then follow steps to UPLOAD VIDEOS to your profile and the main site.

How do I upload a video to the site?
Log in. On the main navigation bar at the top of the page, click on VIDEO. Then click on UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO NOW on the upper right at the YELLOW UP ARROW. Follow the steps to UPLOAD VIDEOS to the main site.

Or on your PROFILE PAGE, position mouse over VIDEO TAB. Click on ADD VIDEOS and follow instructions to upload VideoEgg to your computer. Then follow steps to UPLOAD VIDEOS to your profile and main site.
