Hi Donetta,
I had no idea you love to make cards...it's something I really enjoy doing. I have yet to make my own Christmas cards to send out though. It seems as though everytime the holidays roll around, I am too busy to do those wonderful things.
Do you have any particular place you go to in order to get supplies?
Do you have any great tips on creating cards?

God put us on this earth to be a blessing to him, and you are doing just that by being in the lives of those family who need you. Social Work is hard, but it is also my passion. I know that there are a lot of children that need our help, but we can only do so much in one day. Each day may be a challenge, but we as women are designed by God to overcome all challenges. I haven't taken the time I need to develop my page, but you have inspired me to get busy.

Anyway yeah Ken Burns rocks. I wish I had as many PBS dvds as you. I can't wait to see his latest piece about World War II, which will be starting in the fall. It will be a seven-piece series.
Mary Tyler Moore! You know, on the opening credits of the show, where Mary Richards tosses her cap up into the air? Well, we actually have a statue in downtown Minneapolis that captures that scene, it is located exactly where that part of the show was shot.

Thanks! It was nice to hear back from you. I don't know many people who stay long in this field of work. I really do enjoy it. I have already been beat up twice by my children but nothing that doesn't keep me coming back for more time with them. If you have any ideas that I can use with my children let me know. I love hearing what others do so that I can see if it applies to the room I am working in now.

| Thanks for taking the time to read my poems. I have never taught creative writing nor have I ever thought about teaching it. I am not sure but I don't believe that I would be a good teacher. I really don't have the patience. |
