How to put on the perfect pout Smudge-proof your lip color by following there five simple steps.

Things You’ll Need:

* lip pencil
* creamy lip balm
* lip brush
* toothbrush
* lip liner

Step1
Smooth the Surface -- To help lipstick go on smoothly, coat your lips with a creamy lip balm and use a soft toothbrush in a back-and forth motion to gently exfoliate your lip. Moisturize with lip balm daily.

Step2
Outline with lip liner -- Trace the V at the top of the Cupid's bow with a lip pencil; extend the lines from each peak to the corners of your mouth. Blend the color inward with your fingertips to soften any harsh edges. Repeat on your bottom lip.

Step3
Banish bleeding -- To prevent the color from feathering into fine lines around your mouth, fill in your lips with a pencil. The wax and oil in lip liner help the color stay put longer than lipstick alone.

Step4
Apply lipstick -- Relax your mouth so it falls slightly open. Starting at the corners of your top lip, use a lip brush to apply color and then shade in the rest; repeat on your lower lip. Then press your lips together to blend evenly.

Step5
Keep it where you want it -- For long-lasting color, blot your lips gently on a tissue, reapply the lipstick from sticking to your teeth, pucker up around an index finger, and then draw your finger out slowly. This will remove any excess product from inside your lips.
How to find your perfect lipstick No time for a full face of makeup? No worries. The trick to looking pretty and pulled together in a flash is to reach for just the right lipstick. Of course, searching for a flattering shade can feel a lot like hunting down the perfect pair of jeans - it takes many misses before you run across the ideal option. And with lipstick it's best to have a couple of favorites for different moods. A strong red. for example. will convey sophisticated glamour, while neutral pinks and beiges appear understated and fresh. How can you simplify your search? Use our cheat sheet based on complexion.

Things You’ll Need:

* Glossy lipliner
* Lip Pencil
* Moisturizing lipstick
* Shine lipstick
* Waterproof lipliner

Step1
FOR FAIR SKIN -- Your best colors : Go for true pinks and nudes with a hint of pink or apricot. Cool berry tones "Cherry, fuchsia and raspberry" can also warm up pale complexions.

Step2
FOR MEDIUM SKIN -- Your best colors : Opt for peachy nudes or rosy pinks, which will play up similar tones in your complexion. For a bold look, go for a deep, fire-engine red.

Step3
FOR OLIVE SKIN -- Your best colors : For a fresh look, try warm pinks - think berry tones - or nudes, like a light caramel or bronze. A hint of brown can brighten olive skin; stand out with a brown-based shade of red, such as a rich raisin.

Step4
FOR DARK SKIN -- Your best colors : A bit of brown or purple goes well with darker skin. For daytime, slick on a deep, brown-based neutral, like mocha or caramel. Dark complexions can easily pull off dramatic shades, so explore the spectrum of deep reds with blue or purple undertones - plum, wine or eggplant - at night.

Tips & Warnings

* (FOR FAIR SKIN) Your worst colors : Stay away from anything brown, which can make fair skin look drab.
* (FOR MEDIUM SKIN) Your worst colors : Avoid pastels (anything with icy or gray undertones);they'll clash with your skin.
* (FOR OLIVE SKIN) Your worst colors : Skip candy pinks or any formula with a white or silver base, which can make olive skin look sallow.
* (FOR DARK SKIN) Your worst colors : Pass on candy-pink shades; they tend to make dark skin look gray and washed-out.
